Fruzsina Csala
EU Junior Project Manager & Researcher
Fruzsina is an urbanist holding a double master’s degree in Urban Studies and Geography from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles, and a bachelor’s degree in Art and Design Theory from Moholy-Nagy University of Art Budapest. At IAAC, she is currently working as a researcher and project manager, primarily focusing on two Horizon Europe projects: GreenInCities and HeritACT. She has diverse international expertise in inclusive urban development, citizen participation, and nature-based design principles, with deep knowledge of relevant European urban policies and initiatives. Previously, she worked at the European Commission’s DG REGIO as a communication trainee, at the Budapest Development Agency as a public engagement manager focusing on citizen participation within large-scale public transport developments, and as a research assistant at the ICHEC Brussels Management School, working on the CLIC Horizon 2020 project on cultural heritage and the circular economy.
 At IAAC’s European Project team, Fruzsina manages the GreenInCities Horizon Europe project, contributes to the HeritACT Horizon Europe project, writes scientific articles, and assists with project proposals.
